Pants to pencil skirt!

Got this pants at an op shop in Henderson for $4 or $5!

I really love gingham patterns and just had to get the pants when I saw it on the rack!

Decided to make a pencil skirt, and faced a few issues such as finding out that my invisible zipper foot wouldn't work on my Janome even though I tried it so many times, but ended up bringing my machine to repairs and eventually buying a secondhand Bernina machine!

All in all, I'm so happy with my Bernina machine and the sewing of the invisible zipper was such a breeze! XD

It was a little tricky working with the existing facing, but I managed it somehow! XD
