Can't believe my first buy out of COVID-19 Alert level 2 was from an op shop!

The first weekend and I was off in the morning to the St John's op shop in Henderson! :D

I never had the keenness of buying second-hand clothes.

Wonder if it was a Singapore thing that we usually go straight for the retail stores, or was it just me and my family as my mum is always particular about cleanliness?

Well, it was definitely exhilarating to find a cheap buy that i liked! This was NZD$4!

Been watching quite a bit of youtube videos on thrifted transformations and they have been really inspiring! :D

What better way to practise without spending loads on new fabric when you can find some really good stuff at the op shop and play a part in reducing extra consumption!

The skirt was already pleated and I pondered over how I could transform this but ended up taking the least complicated route and took in the side seams, butchered off the excess fabric and re-hemmed the bottom! :D
