Getting better at this!

Another weekend of mask-sewing!
A friend of mine ordered ten, and tadah! Including the others I had planned to make them for, this batch was a total of 28 this time!
I had ran out of elastic, and including the feedback about how elastic was cutting into the ears, I switched it out for t-shirt/old cardigan ties (which are definitely more comfortable), a tip I learnt from one of Keiko Olsson's mask tutorials!
Definitely became cross-eyed!
I can't imagine how someone would feel by sitting at the sewing machine and sewing the same exact thing for the whole day! :O
Half the time I was so tempted to pause, take a break, and work on a different project! :O
A whole new appreciation for the people involved in the industry as well as slow fashion!
PS. In spite of the "boredom" that comes with the repetition, it has been fun practice and I am getting better consistency in the sewing of the masks! Definitely need to recoup some money for all the sewing supplies, so I might start to sell them online soon! Keep posted for some updates! :D
