The latest obsession of quilting doesn't stop even when it gets tiring to make a full quilt! *laughs*
A quilted bag it is!
Decided to make this quilted bag for my friend, to match the baby quilt for her son! I had some extra squares that I had cut for the original design of the quilt before I decided to change my mind, so it was a perfect opportunity to use up some of those cuts!
Lots and lots of cutting!
Started with 10.5cm cut squares! :)
The first block seemed good, and so I proceeded to cut out another 12 squares (10.5cm) - six coloured and six white, for the second block which would form the other side of the bag.
I must have been so excited (or tired lol) for the quilting part, that I forgot to take photos of the steps for the quilting lines for the outer bag (can be seen in the last image).
Time for straps before assembling outer and lining bag!
Stoked with how it turned out and was so tempted to keep it for myself, because they're my kind of colours! :D :D
I hope this mummy and baby will use them for a long time to come! XD XD
